Here are the results of my online écorché class at the Academy of Art University with my instructor Daniel Burt. I have to give MASSIVE thanks to Mr. Burt for guiding me through the process of making this despite the limitations of an online setting due to the pandemic. The écorché was made using soft Roma Plastina oil based clay. This was my first experience doing any traditional sculpting so it was a challenging but very enjoyable experience. I still have much to learn about anatomy of the human body, but this class definitely pushed me to the next level!
The écorché is approximately 2 1/2 feet or 76 cm tall.
Main references used were "Human Anatomy For Artists" by Elliot Goldfinger and "Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer.
