Wilma Miranda is a Puerto Rican animator, illustrator, and artsy human, with studio and freelancing experience. She's completed an MFA in 2D character animation at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, and a BFA in painting from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico. Besides being an artist she's a plant mom, favorite auntie, baby #6 out of 7 siblings, Capoeira noob student, hiker, sporadic jewelry maker, an amateur tailor from time to time, webtoons/graphic novels reader, a life-long adorable things enthusiast, and much more! Some of her favorite things about animation are getting to collaborate with other artists and see the final result of their teamwork, as well as bringing characters to life that get to live their own stories and reflect our own.
