Alex is an experienced Industrial Designer with 10 years of experience in the field. Most of his experience is in design studios designing consumer electronics, wearables, medical devices, furniture and branding. In 2012, with two friends, he founded Ipsilon Design, a furniture company that specializes in DIY furniture.

​Early in life, he was inspired by his mother - an art school teacher - to develop his creative side and craftsmanship. By his father - a former marketing agency consultant - to understand the intricate intersection between business and consumer need to coexist in harmony.

​The discovery of industrial design was a natural progression, after studying in other fields like civil engineering and graphic design.

​Alex is passionate about creating delightful experiences and he believes that empathy, creativity and experimentation are keys to a successful service, product or business.
