Armando Rivera was born and raised in the Coachella Valley in Southern California. His parents, Armando & Lisa Rivera are his biggest inspirations. His father, raised in Mexico, and his mother, raised throughout Europe, both worked tirelessly to create a better life for themselves and their family. Today, they both have Master’s Degrees and have worked in education for over twenty-five years. Armando attributes his work-ethic and his success to the example his parents have provided all his life. Armando began acting in his senior year of college and has now starred in a wide variety of festival-bound films, commercials and PSAs, and ArtU’s World Premier One-Act Play Festivals. Armando has also been a student-athlete throughout his college career and is currently the captain of the University’s NCAA Division 2 Men’s Soccer Team.
