I am originally from Korea, but I lived in United States for more than 10 years now, and fortunately I can speak both languages fluently. I cannot say for certain on what I would always like to do, but right now I am enjoying myself as becoming a rigger and providing my skills in creating new worlds. I studied architecture in undergrad and found myself wanting to explore other way of creating something that works for me. I had interest in animation and expressing myself through acting, so at the 3rd year of my undergraduate, I have dived into world of 3D animation. What caught my attention most was “rigging” in the pipeline. Modelers create the vessel for life, riggers put in skeleton, muscles, and functionality, and lastly animator become the brain and driving force for the new life form that exist in digital. Rigger feels like a hero that I wanted to be when I was a kid, a hero that works in shadow and helps everything to come together; so, I started to study to become one
